Well, hello! What an incredible 8+ hours of hiking magic. This hike had it all: views, challenges, a few animals, sunshine and great company. In the end, we decided to take the cable car down to save our knees. ;)

Another great day of hiking- this time filled with crazy-fit runners: The Swiss Alps 100 was happening at the same time and our hike turned out to be located exactly where they had their 160 km endurance race. It was impressive, inspiring and fun to cheer them on!

Short but sweet. We hiked up to Riederhorn and had a great view once again over our playground from the past two days. On the summit we saw a guy who looked like he was fly fishing (which clearly could not be the case). Leah asked him what he was up to and that is when we learned about Summits on the Air, where amateur radio enthusiasts collect points by carrying up and using their gear up on the mountains. The fishing line was actually an antenna.

Oh, and did we forget to mention that we went swimming in the icy cold waters of Bettmersee everyday? When can we move here?
