We arrived a little late because there was a huge traffic jam on the Schwägalp and the last two kilometers took the bus what felt like 40 minutes. The reason for this was an oldtimer meeting on the highest point of the mountain pass. Especially Beate was very excited about this, so we walked around and checked out the shiny old pressures - and some goats.

The first part still looked rather green with some snow patches on the way. We were accompanied by nice brass music covering current pop songs that played for the oldtimer fans. Note to myself: business idea "Mount Everest expedition company that organizes a brass music band for the motivation". ;)

At the little Tierwies hut, the scenery changed from green to fully alpine and snowy...
